At HARAS ITAPÉ, we offer a variety of excursions and stays, always in a setting of pure nature and fresh air. Daytime horseback riding, full moon horseback riding, farm visits where we raise and train thoroughbred horses, leisure day at the riverside (perfect for swimming), kayaking, afternoon teas with local products from the farm, hikes and bird watching, camp style dinner with bonfire, birthday reunions, accommodation in a caravan at the riverside... and much more.​

Riverside Camp

Private camp site at the Garupá riverside in the middle of the jungle. The infrastructure is naturally fitted into the jungle surrounding: BBQ, wooden tables and benches, toilet, jungle trails, private access to the water (with shallow places ideal for little kids) and a tree house. Accessible by car.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding through the pasturelands and on trails in the middle of our native forest. It´s suitable for all ages and for beginners as well as for experienced riders. We have a lot of well-trained horses and ponies. Gentle animals that will bring you to the side of a romantic river, a jewel in the middle of the jungle!

Full Moon

Full moon bonfire with cocktail or country dinner. Horseback riding and night walks. The night sky far off light emissions is magic. The most mystical tour all over the South of Misiones is the horseback ride at full moon!

Accommodation

A fully equipped caravan - within a few steps from the riverside - offers an exotic option to spend the night in contact with nature, but with certain luxuries: Solar energy, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, fridge, BBQ place and a comfy bed. The reasons to choose this place can be very different, but we all look for harmony with the environment, intact nature, enriching experiences, unforgettable moments, peace and a pinch of adventure.

Farm Visit

On the 55 hectare farm we have thoroughbred horses, criollo horses, cattle (for meat and milk), chicken, ducks, sheep, a vegetable garden, apiaries and lot of cute pets.​ The visit can be combined with a homemade afternoon tea or a traditional lunch.

Events

We have a beautiful rural property on the farm and a more natural setting near the river to make your dream of a birthday in the middle of nature come true. Or why not a graduation celebration, a reunion with family or friends or a Christmas lunch with your work team? The lamb on the barbecue, the chicken stew cooked in the fire pot or our vegetarian meals are very tasty!

Kayaking

The Garupá river is perfect for kayaking. There are shallow and half deep areas which means, you don´t need to be a pro on the kayak and you can easily take your kids for a paddling tour. The Misiones jungle dominates both river sides and gives you the real outback feeling. It´s a dream!

Bird Watching

The hilly countryside and the Misiones jungle offer many surprises for its visitors; go hiking on jungle trails and learn about the diversity of flora and fauna. Get a glimpse at the different species of birds that live on our farm or pass by while migrating.
